I like the color and composition here. It could be a detail in a home and garden magazine. I am not sold on the posterizing effect. As you know, I am not into certain photoshop effects that shout photoshop. What do you fell the effect adds to the image? My mind can be changed.
I forgot to mention the framing. Very nice. I love to see an image framed by it's surroundings. This creates a cool sense of space, and creates a compositional effect, leading you into the subject.

thanks man. i was goin for the whole earth tone thing.
as far as the posterizing effect, i like how it adds interest by breaking up the colors in to chunks, rather than having them fluidly transition.
seeing sort of a "border" between two colors is something i find cool, rather than having a flow. sometimes, anyhow. it depends on the photo.
the breaking up of the color creates that interesting line, between the colors. i like it. thats all.
